Something like that B&D is probably an upgrade from the typical cordless screwdriver tho', if you need more torque than the typical 4V to 8V screwdrivers provide, but then along with that, also benefit from a clutch to not cause damage.
There are now impact drivers that attempt to limit torque but they are not very precise and not inexpensive. A 12V drill could be another option.
