I have an earlier/different version that clips onto the rearview mirror (much more hidden). It's okay but if left on all the time (before the vehicle's A/C cools the interior), it 'will' eat the microSD card. Overheating is a serious problem with virtually all of these dashcams, but worse with the cheaper ones.
This is not so great if you don't occasionally check to make sure it's still working. Otherwise, you may find that when you need the video, it's not there. The bottom line is that a dashcam is not a 'set-it and forget-it' device (although it should be).
