I have the newer ones that I got for $549. They are awesome speakers and for this price it's like getting the elevation speaker free. Some critics feel a sub is necessary to round out the bass but these are great for both home theater and music. Highly recommended
Just got my 26-FA pair in. Still unbroken in they sound great in my home theater. I plan to test the Atmos extensively over the weekend. They are beautiful speakers - just slightly shorter than the Polk 70 Monitor II pair they are replacing.
I've had mine since Friday. They are very nice . The sound is amazing . Crisp highs and resounding bass. I couldn't be happier. The ATMOS feature is a dimension in sound that really creates a fantastic listening experience. I highly recommend these speakers to the audio enthusiast .
These are good speakers, but don't think for a moment that you don't need a sub. Those 6.5" drivers are pretty good, but they really don't do much below 50hz. If you are looking to save some money and want a home theater sub that matches up well with these go get yourself a Polk Audio PSW505. That 12" sub is priced similarly to Klipsch subs, but actually delivers the deeper bass you want - down to about 24hz.
Any speaker other than the one Marty McFly used at the very beginning of the first Back to the Future is simply not worthy of being called a speaker at all.
