If you value your eyesight, (pets, kids) stay away from this. The slits allow for UVC light to pass through. It's even stated in the description.

GermGuardian has a better design, it has a user replacebale UVC lamp, it will eventually need replacement.
Every time I see air purifiers on here, I buy one or two or three or four, then use them for 29 days and return them. I'm THAT guy. Sorry, but I've yet to find one that I have much confidence in beyond 30 days of use, even with replacing filters etc. Follow me for more cheapskate life hacks lol
