Yeah I know that.. but still.. I mean, I'm 6' , so maybe it's just me, but I don't image 16" above desk height being enough for too many people.
My experience: I have an UpLift desk by The Human Solution at work. The entire desk raises and lowers with a motor, not just a platform. My sitting height is 32" (standard is usually 28"-30") and my standing height is 45". I'm 6'3". So that represents a 13" height variance. The key is to start with a desk that fits you in the sitting position and this should work fine.
