Can't tell if this will be a hit out of the gate or if I can get it for way less come Christmas. Cut the cord years ago. This sounds good but Hulu covers most all shows except CBS so not sure it's worth it otherwise.

I have a Tivo + cable subscription. Yes, it's more expensive, but I would miss the easy fast forward, reverse, forward/backward-skip. Streaming would be so much better if they allowed downloading large blocks of content in the background to local encrypted storage.

Time will only tell, but I do hope someone figures out a way to upgrade the drive, similar to how people have been able to upgrade the TiVo Roamio OTA DVR from 500GB/1TB to up to an 8TB drive.

Took a chance and ordered this package. Having Tivo is like having a third hand to me but paying $16 a month is in my opinion not good value. Increasing the size of the Hard drive is critical to me and the ability of skipping ads is going to be hard to give up. I test drove the new Bolt OTA and was not impressed with the interface it was also very noisy.
