I had one of these for a short time. It was definitely not heavy duty. I broke it almost immediately. I guess the moral is that these are to be used for light duty only.
Worth every penny. I use this all the time. I've read that they don't last, but it's been pretty solid for me. I used mine to drill 1" channels in the top wall plates with short-stemmed ***** bits for new wiring. It was pretty gnarly. Burned up one drill on the project, but the angled attachment survived it all. Had it not I would've picked up a replacement. Maybe I got lucky?
Mine works perfectly, whether I am screwing in a tight space, or drilling holes in a stud to stick some pipe into. I noticed that it is full of grease, and I do worry about whether it is necessary to top that off or not, but so far so good, for super cheap. I think it is frequently $15 in store.
I have this. I haven’t needed it often, but it works like a charm when I do. I suggest using a longer bit than it comes with. I use the dewalt driver bits with it.

The tool is very useful but I'm weary of using it for impact purposes. Housing is plastic and it's not very heavy.
