I bought a lot of Cree bulbs when my power company subsidized them. They've been pretty reliable.

These bulbs have serious connectivity problems with Echo devices. Reviews are trending down as of 's current sale of the bulbs. Echo Tech support suggests that the bulb firmware prevents the bulb from being discovered reliably. They hinted that Cree may recall the bulbs. Also, other hub manufacturers are experiencing increased customer problems. Read the reviews for specifics. Good price, bad implementation by Cree.
