I own two. One to control landscape lights for the front yard by using the dusk feature. The other is used to control bedroom lamp and act as an automatic night light.

I use my smart plugs for lights and a fan. With ifttt I set them to go on and off at random times throughout the day/night to make it appear that someone is home when on vacation.

I recently bought a few but haven't figured out exactly what to use them for since I'm already satisfied with my lights being controlled by occupancy sensors, so am figuring out what else to use them for.
