according to CNET, it is a project from FreedomPop. thus, expect your phone will work, but basically ZERO customer service.

Are your sure? FreedomPop is the biggest mistake in my life. You have to monitor your account very carefully.

Still have FreedomPop free-service phones, but everyone in my family now uses RedPocket.
FreedomPop connections are unreliable in my area.
