I buy most of my groceries at Kroger and use their Kroger Rewards card for coupons and discounts. Kroger also has fuel stations at a lot of their stores and fuel discount points build up for store purchases. I filled up a couple of days ago and got $1.20 off per gallon!

^ You must have better Krogers than I do, mine only let me take off up to $1.00 per gallon.

Safeway has rewards that give up to $1.00/gallon off at Safeway gas stations. At other stations that participate, the maximum is .20/gallon.

I use 7-11 and bp and most if the time i get 5c off and i dont have to link my card.

It was the first time that I've ever received such a large discount. I had checked a bunch of extra fuel coupons in the Kroger app so I may have hit some kind of 2x multiplier or something. And I was surprised since the Kroger commercials state "up to $1 off per gallon of gas".
