16 gauge. That's NOT "heavy duty." Need an outdoor extension cord for power tools? You need 12 gauge. Also note the price history for this "Sizzling" deal: ruler flat. The only thing sizzling will be this cord if you try to use it with a high amp tool.
Gauge is also about length, this being rated for 13A which is enough to run lots of tools, just not the most power hungry. Makes sense to me to own multiple cords and only as many heavier gauge as you need instead of paying more for the rest of them.
