swreynolds, can you explain Dove's use of purifying granules in their bars of soap please...

During the last Dove seminar I attended, they reiterated that it "delivers a deep, refreshing wash that leaves skin feeling hydrated and strong."

The box with the green doesn't have the "purifying grains." the red box does. To imagine what they feel like, think of Lava soap (if you've ever used it) with larger granules of pumice scraping away at your skin. It works well for abrading off the unwanted grease on your skin, along with the top layer of skin. For some this can be "invigorating," for others it can be painful during and after washing.
