This thing is amazing. We cook chicken on it all the time.
Steak is ok but not as good as a outside grill.
Chicken we cant really tell difference.

I concur with Forbidden... I've had mine for about 6 years now, and love it. Mostly used for steak, chicken, and panini. When I bought mine, the waffle plates came with it :) But since I have a Belgian waffle maker, never used the Griddler for that.
