This is stupid. This won't attract fish. Fish look metal, but no matter how strong a magnet is, it ain't gonna pick up fish out of water.

I've had 1 of these stuck to the metal plate in my head for 8 years now. When I help my wife with dinner, she hangs the soup ladle off my forehead. I feel like like a tool.

We had an early generation magnet of this sort, but larger, and used it in Escambia Bay (Pensacola, FL). That incredibly powerful magnet found something heavy and ferrous - and is still down there.

Might have been Jimmy Hoffa+chain+engine block...
