Yeah. Those games utilize different controls. Yeah like what? A JOYSTICK AND A FIRE BUTTON. How hard is it to adapt to that?
The cabinets that are being produced have games that use the the same controls in the same general positions as the original cabinets. Anyone who has actually played the original cabs knows that Defender uses and up down only joystick whereas Pacman uses a 4 way joystick that is in a totally different position on the cabinet. The cabinet here in question doesn't have a joystick at all because none of these games use a joystick and the joystick would have to be put somewhere. Most people would stick it right in the middle of the panel like the original pacman cabs which would kinda ruin the placement of the buttons on this cab which would sway most buyers because it's not true to the spirit of the original cab. People like originality. That is one of the reasons people are buying these even though they are mini versions. Otherwise, you can play games like Sonic on your phone but no one is going to pay more than $5 for a game like that.
