Yes, good deal if you just need the drill. If you could use a brushless impact driver and reciprocating saw too, they now have that 3 tool combo with 2 x 4Ah battery packs for $200, though currently out of stock:
1.5Ah batteries? Pass! Not only will they limit run time but also power. Even the 2 Ah batts are a compromise. Yes the 4 Ah weighs more but its not a problem unless your a girly man.... Maybe a lite 12v is more your thing? I use the 9 Ah battery for a good workout.. Kidding aside I've seen many cordless tool shootouts and the new Rigid brushless products never take the top spot but are always in the top 3 beating out others that you wouldn't expect. Rigid costs less especially in the big kits. Milwaukee and Dewalt tend to score a little higher but at significantly higher cost and Dewalts warranty sucks in comparison. Rigid even covers the batteries for life, I don't think Milwaukee covers the batteries for life.
