Some camera devices only support up to 32 GB cards. I don't know if that means it won't be recognized or can only write to half the storage. Check your user guide.
I am using this with my LG V20. But right now on , I would recommend getting the Samsung EVO plus (green) for the same price and same size. The Samsung is rated U3 which has a better read speed. I have been using that for my GoPro 4 Black doing 4k recording. Unless you really LOVE Sandisk, take a look at the Samsung. I think that is a better deal.
Should work in a dash cam, but if it gets fried due to constant writing/rewriting cycles and extra heat, you may have hard time replacing under warranty- Manufacturer doesn’t recommended this model for dashcams, only High Endurance cards. But for $20 the warranty claim may not be worth the hassle. YMMV
