In my experience, Lenovo's consumer grade laptops look nice, with solid build quality and good materials, but either the internal hardware or the drivers are always buggy as hell. The commercial grade thinkpads are the opposite. The build is solid, but bland, however their performance is good.
Last year Lenovo got blasted by consumer reports for a few of their laptops. They had good specs but a ton of design flaws. Bad Bios and overheating were the main complaints. The company took a major hit. So to keep their market share, they’ve put a lot of emphasis on their quality. I would trust in getting this deal, given the circumstances.

"I'm still using the flex 4. ironically, it's probably faster than this one is. 7th gen i7, 16gb of ram"
What was the cost for the Flex 4 and what programs is it faster in specifically?
Thank you!
