Costco also has new member deals on occasion. Always amazes me that the non-customers get the deals, the loyal customers (about 10 years for me) don't get squat.
I should probably do this, I need to get new tires. Anyone use Sams Club for tires and would recommend it?
I always buy my tires at Sam's Club... If you go on their "1-Day event" Saturdays, you'll get free install and free lifetime rotate & balance... ($60 value)
Did this deal the last time it was around. Great value and even though it's the basic membership, my Sam's club lets me use the card in the early hours like the business level with no issues.

That's because they already "reeled in those fish", so to speak. Same thing Sam's does, and why they make sure you haven't been a member, for at least 6 months, if you want to take advantage of a new membership deal.
Personally, I don't have any reason for either one of them (tho I only have Sam's nearby....Costco is 2 hours away). Being a single person, with no roommates, I have no reason to buy eleventy billion rolls of TP, or twelveteen pounds of (fill in the blank).
