Kinda wish Sears would just call it quits so I could just go to Lowe's and pick up this deal. Craftsman isn't what it used to be, but for a basic set for light duty stuff, seems like a deal!
The quality is still there with Craftsman tools, but they do sell a lower quality and priced tool in Sears and Kmart. And no, their lifetime guarantee is not going anywhere. Craftsman was just bought out by Stanley Black and Decker, whom make a lot of other outstanding and high quality tools. This is why you can now buy Craftsman tools at other places besides Sears.

Maybe, but that Craftsman Lifetime Guarantee is going away soon (with pending bankruptcy this week).
Nope. Lowe's also announced months ago they will be a supplier of Craftsman branded tools and honor the lifetime warranty.
Thank you!
