DaVinchi is free. Bit complex but lots of videos on how to use it on YouTube - kosherkracker
I think it's different with DaVinchi. VideoProc is more like a media converter to convert videos, audios and DVDs. The editing toolbox is simple and basic.
Did they ever add the ability to resize the window? I got this free, version 3.6 on the deal last fall, but don't ever use it because it's maddening to be stuck with a little 1617x1065 resolution window that can't be resized larger or maximized, and where the majority of the space within the window is wasted empty space.
Hmm, I just uninstalled the old ver 3.6 to install this and found that it left behind over 90MB of misc. installed files and 5 different folder locations to clean up manually.
This new ver 4.2 still does not let you increase the size of the window or maximize it... think I'll just keep using Avidemux (freeware) for simple conversion and processing jobs.
FYI, when you input the license key shown on their site landing page and enter your email address in the app to activate it, there is no email you need to receive to activate the software, can give an invalid /fake email and that'll work fine.
