I just wonder how you'll get these serviced after Sears's demise.

^ I forget all the brands Sears has already sold off, but I think Kenmore is either sold already or it will be soon. So somebody will still be making them. The brand still has a lot of value.

Youtube it.

And when that fails, call the local independent appliance repair guy. Not sure if he's any good, but he's better than customer support at the appliance company.

I'm just wondering how these will be delivered from
Amazon.
I had purchased a range hood from them a few years back and it was a nightmare. The first two units came with huge dents & scratches in them. Amazon was great about returning them but it was a timing issue with the house we were selling more than anything. The third hood also came damaged but luckily the scratched side was up against a cabinet so it was hidden.

^Not always made by Whirlpool/Amana. Kenmore has used various others to make stuff (Frigidaire/Electrolux, etc.)

Also be weary of front loading washers bc of mold issues around the ring. I'll never buy another one.

Mold issues are rare unless you put your washer in a humid place.

Mold/mildew/funky smell issues are NON EXISTENT if you just leave the washer door open after you complete a wash cycle. Problem solved. Have an LG TROM front loader for the past 15 yrs... Zero issues.
