Won’t except my old phone as trade-in because it’s not paid off and I can’t pay the old phone off early so for me it doesn’t work.

Look at the T-Mobile deal. I traded my iPhone 12 Pro Max still paying off and was able to get the 13 Pro Max for only $110.
