I adore these little things; I have the Sparkfun Heaterizer XL, which is a few bucks cheaper but then you have to pay shipping.

They're so much more docile than the giant paint-stripper guns, and ideal for heatshrink and stuff on the electronics workbench.

Apparently this has a 24 month warranty, according to a reply from the manufacturer to a comment at
Amazon.
Reviews are pretty positive, except for the couple where the thing caught on fire.
