These are great shovels! I've got the 20" wide model, and even with bad shoulders, it makes all but the wettest/heaviest snow a breeze to shovel, without wrecking my back, too!

I agree that it seems excessive how far the snow was being thrown (though that is necessary in areas where it snows a lot, otherwise you end up with a wall of snow around what you're shoveling after a few snows then have to throw the snow over that wall anyway).
Otherwise, the video seemed pretty realistic, I mean if you have the greater leverage of having the 2nd handle then you can throw it further with less bending and strain on your lower back. The 2nd handle definitely makes a difference in posture, which muscle area is used, and also a higher % of the weight lifted is the snow instead of your torso.
