I have this hanging in the middle of my garage ceiling. When I want to play music, I just pull the socket’s pull-chain and it connects to my phone almost immediately. The sound is surprisingly good considering it’s coming from a light bulb.

I've got one of these. While I'm no audiophile, I use this with an Echo dot and it has considerably better sound than the dot. Alexa cannot set the status/brightness of the light. You have to do that through the app.
