    To clarify, a monitor this large would be better with 3840 x 2160, instead of 3840 x 1080.

    I'm not sure the resolution at 4k would be beneficial to a screen that's not that tall. Remember, screen size is measured from corner to corner, diagonally. So even though it's 44 inches, it's only 21 inches tall. Without being curved, it's also too wide to be productive unless you're using it for music/video production and need the extra width.
