I'd be all over this if only it had longer than an 8" cord. Seems like everyone wants to charge a premium for $1 worth of additional wire length.

If you don't mind light blue or yellow w/o switches you can get this Orico with a 3.3ft cord for $8 after a 20% off Click Coupon, or the black for $11. That's about as good as it gets unless you want to wait for a month for something direct from China via :

You may have to manually copy/paste that link to make it work and something is fishy about that listing because it states 3.3ft but the picture shows a much shorter cord.

^ On the Oricos I have, yes it is replaceable because it's a male A on both ends. On this Sabrent and most short-corded USB3 hubs, it is built-on, hard wired, not replaceable.

You can use a USB3 extension cord, but who wants to do that if you don't have to? If you have to add a cord, the price goes up. It's not a matter of what can be done but rather, what is a good price to get it done.

This Sabrent is a good price if you only need 8" of cord.
