I bought it for $5 last time it was on sale, and it definitely entertained me $5 worth. Never even used the remote yet. Yes, it's cheap, yes, it's ****, but yes, it's entertaining and worth $3.

The remote doesn’t work for iOS (maybe it does a few select apps). It does have a magnet select button, though, for pulling up menus and the focal adjustments and head straps are pretty good.
