^ yeah but I can see some reasons... if it's already set up to take solar panel as input power, not needing a separate box for a controller is good, and then you can pick whether you want solar panels at all, and buy the size panels you want for the budget or portability needed.
Then again, all that is a lot to invest for only 250W on one 110VAC outlet or 300W if using both.

It's still misleading. I blame woot for this.
I for one will NOT expect a solar panel to be included with this unit at this price.
Also, if you read the description,
"(for best results, please use the included power adapter to recharge it)"
if you look at Ravpower's website, you'll see it classified correctly.
