I agree. Why change the name to something hard to pronounce. I used to shop all the time before they became Rakuten. They were the closest competitor to when they first started. You could actually buy stuff from them. Then they just became a rebate site.
My Big Fat Check shows it was mailed out today (8/14) and that the next check will be mailed on 11/15/2020. Lifetime rebates: $1,350. Anybody earned more?
ebates/Rakuten since 2000. Lifetime rebates: $4353.53. Most of it is nickel and dime stuff (it adds up). But some big chunks here and there. $300 for switching to T-Mobile. 10% from a cruise from Expedia.

I was a big customer of and they always had great prices. I honestly don't think I ever bought anything from rakuten. it's a shame that they ran it into the ground. maybe somebody can buy the intellectual property and resurrect
