OK I guess. had the 2 year Bitdefender subscription on sale for 5 dollars more. And Bitdefender receives better reviews. Having said that.......we used 360 for many years when Comcast offered the package for free with an Internet subscription. This ends 12/31/2020 thanks to the pond scum at Comcast who just cannot seem to run out of ways to screw the consumer. I would guess that Norton, after losing such a monster account, will have plenty of these sales down the road. I chose the Bitdefender due to the professional reviews which always have Bitdefender rated well above Norton. But, once again, 0 problems with Norton all the years I used it.

Your characterization of Comcast ("pond scum") brought a smile to my face, as it is spot on. Based upon the e-mail I received from them, they're now peddling their very own alternative to Norton - "X-Fi Advanced Security." And the best part of it is that they're providing it at "no additional charge," SO LONG AS YOU agree to rent our their modem/router combo for an exorbitant monthly fee. So, by cutting Norton loose they're getting a two-fer: propagating their own antivirus offering and increasing the ranks of "useful idiots" that will rent Comcast equipment rather than purchasing their own. Pond scum indeed...

The best part........I don't believe, from what I read, this is a true anti-virus/malware program. What you will probably find out, after it is too late, you still need an additional program. All you really need to know about Comcast is this........they are losing subscribers, and still increasing profits.
