For all the stuff it claims, be aware that usually these tools at this price will not do German and many other non-USA stuff like ABS, airbags, and other deeper stuff. Some may clear codes others can change operating parameters. With BMW you even have to code the battery to the car or it won't work! I bought a Foxwell that looks a lot like this to clear my ABS codes on my BMW 330i. There were some slightly less costly tools but this one seemed the best value. It cost close to 3 times this but was set up for BMW although it will also do basic OBD2 stuff for most makes like this one will. If needed there are software add ons for other makes for a price. I would spend a bit more for a better tool that can do more and has software upgrades that allow it to do even more. In the long run it will be a better value. I just got by with one of those Elm? blue tooth and Torq phone apps for a long time but couldn't touch the ABS stuff on my BMW. This is much better. Fortunately all I had to do is clear the ABS code and no problems since. I could have wasted a lot of $ trying to fix it trial and error. A shop that specializes in German stuff wanted $70 for one code read. Made paying for a better scanner a no brainer.
