I paid $200 when it first came out. So $75 is a really good deal on a solid AC1900 router. Now there are newer AC routers with higher speed so it would depend on your needs. This router is still running strong after all these years without the need to reboot/reset unless it was after a firmware upgrade.
For what it's worth, not just for the Nighthawk line of products, but also a couple of others including Orbi mesh offerings, please be aware that if you choose to use their "guest wireless" feature, just treat it as a trusted network since 1) there's no true guest network isolation, 2) guests are on the same subnet as your trusted wired and wireless devices, and 3) there are no policies you can put in place to protect your trusted devices from your guest wireless network.
Besides this security hole, performance-wise this wireless router scores high marks. At this price, it's an easy decision if you're looking to upgrade an old wireless router or you just need one for your home. Despite being AC1900, most bottleneck is really at one's ISP (i.e. your 100Mbps subscription).
