That's a good price. I love my Makita Circular saw. For the longest time, I didn't know there was difference between a drill and driver. Now that I do know, I really want to get a new set.

Once invested in the batteries there are a lot of great tools they work with. Even an adapter that turns the battery into a usb battery pack.

Yeah, these are light duty. If that's what you need these should be good. I'm in the market for a new set of drills. But I'll pass on 12V as well.

12 volt is fine for most tasks. I use my Porter Cable 12v drill/driver more than my 18v DeWalt. Turns out, lighter is better for me and as I said, 90-95% of the same tasks. I'd buy this set if my Porter set was weak. For $99, I'd get new tools and 2 new batts, almost cheaper than two new batts for my set.
