I've been window shopping TVs for months, holding out for the holidays. I'd prefer an LG over a Samsung, but the curved screens hold intrigue. I've read that they're more or less a gimmick--but might they reduce glare a bit or provide any other benefits besides looking pretty?
I got the LG 7700 series with the Magic Remote & love it. The Magic Remote is RF & has what LG calls an Air Mouse. Much easier entering usernames, passwords, or searching for things clicking with a mouse. Plus the Google Assistant built in to the remote/TV. Also the LG App Store has PSVue, DTVNow, YouTubeTV, Hulu, Netflix, etc so you don't have to use your Roku or Fire TV.
