Pretty good CPU, but screen resolution is from 2013. Not sure if a spinning HDD makes sense, even with the optane cache. I've also found the Lenovo consumer division provides seemingly great hardware, but with lousy driver support. You wind up getting issues like non-responsive touchpads and unreliable WiFi. The issues go away on reboot or when you disable/re-enable hardware. All in all, probably not worth the headaches. The funny part is their corporate Thinkpad line are pretty solid, although boring. It's as if IBM still makes them, and the consumer offerings are made by someone else.
