Very good reviews on Too bad Intel decided to measure the performance in IOPs. "IOPS numbers published by storage device manufacturers do not directly relate to real-world application performance." I would think that someone considering performance would decide the ratio of reads to writes and then look at the performance of the device in question to see how it matched up with their needs. For most home users, read speed is most important.
