I have a different Duromax, and it has worked flawlessly each time I've used it. If I needed a new one this would be it. Will be easier to find propane when SHTF.
I ordered this about nine months ago. When I fired it up I could smell propane, then realized it was leaking where the cable attached to the unit. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement part. They were quick to respond. Once I swapped out the replacement part it worked perfectly.
Prefer this over the gas units....much cleaner and you don't have to worry about old fuel being left in the generator when you are in-between hurricanes, plus you don't have to keep all those gasoline containers on hand in your garage.
^ True but Chinese engines have gotten a lot better in the last 15 years. Some are now pretty much Honda clones and if something fails, you can put a genuine honda part on if you want to pay the premium for it.
