I hate any kind of reference book, including cookbooks, on Kindle. really needs to teach Kindles about hyperlinks because it's a pain not to be able to jump from a table of contents to the relevant page. I use a tablet for kindle books and it's a pain going page by page.
^ I just got it free an hour ago, am not on Kindle unlimited. Just click the lower buy button on the right hand column, then you can choose where to deliver it to on the purchased screen. I deliver it to Kindle Reader on my PC.
This particular book worked fine but at least one of the other freebies uses the newer DRM that older versions of Kindle for PC don't support. I'd have upgraded the reader app but last time I did that, it became inoperable, had to down-version back to the one I had working.
