It's not a bad deal, but if you wait until around black Friday Canon puts on all kinds of sales on their refurb products that come with a year warranty and are basically brand new.
I have this thing. I like it a lot. This thing is a long way from my XTi (yeah it's more than a decade old). The focus system and its photo sensor are amazing. Like #1 said, check the Canon refurbished store on BF.
