uses .47 dlp chip with issues on borders and less sharpness versus standard .65 dlp chip

this is very tempting. if the 3550 hadn't just come out with superior performance that addressed the shortcomings of this and all the .47 chips I would be all over this. waiting for more second gen cheapo 4k projectors to come down in price.
