This is on my wishlist. But sadly not this Christmas. I too think this deal could be better, but again it's Apple. sale or no sale people will buy it.

I spent the last couple of months trying out the prior version Pro, seeing if it (with keyboard) could serve as my road computer. Short version - almost, but not quite. Doesn't quite enable enough Office capabilities. I'm wondering if a Surface Go switched to Windows Home (from S) could pull it off.

You'll always be happier with android or windows tablets if your are seeking office functionality, customizations and flexibility.
