I can't EVEN IMAGINE using an electric lawn mower unless it was cordless, and somehow had the same hp as a gasoline mower and matching runtime of a full tank of gas. Some things were just not meant to be. but I keep hoping that one day we'll have the same technology as from the movie Independence Day where all of our appliances and equipment have blue glowing lights and run forever
^ I'd switch to cordless if I could get the lawn done on a single, included battery/charge, and the price was under $200. Some will say that's not even enough to get a "good" gas mower but I prefer the lighter weight, ~3.5ish HP non-self-propelled mowers. Larger, heavier, self propelled just slows me down and I never felt like a Honda engine was worth the extra money. I've never had a lawnmower engine fail, just need the carb cleaned and/or new gasket kit after a decade or two.
