So... I've bought these before because they're cheap and "it's just dental floss, right?" A couple of thoughts: (1) The floss is definitely old school dental floss - no modern teflon/tape/strand here. Just string. It is ok, but it frays and definitely breaks more often than flossers that use more modern textiles. (2) The connection of the string to the flosser seems like a weak point. String floss breaking due to fraying of the part being used is a pain but at least it indicates that the string is doing its job. Many of the Plackers I've used just have the string break right at the connection to the holder. (3) when they say "Micro Mint", they mean it. They use possibly the least amount of mint flavor to legally be allowed to call them "mint". If you are a flosser (and you should be), my dentist has said that manual flossing is the best way to really get good results, but flossers are ok and certainly better than not flossing. So, I'd suggest ones that actually hold up to the job, and if you want flavored (WAY better than not flavored) I'd suggest the Oral-B Glide flossers with Scope. More expensive but stronger, better filament and definitely minty.

I prefer DenTek Complete Clean, minty enough and don't break for me.

We’re using Twin-Line Plackers which says “Engineered not to Stretch, Shred or Break.” So far, for the two months we’ve been using them, that had held true.

I get these from the $1 store for the car. I think I still have the same pack from 7 years ago.

Excellent reviews, but fakespot.com says "Our engine has profiled the reviewer patterns and has determined that there is high deception involved."

I wouldn't recommend these. They are tough to get between tight teeth and often break. I def prefer the Glide floss.
