I can't tell you about these particular cables, but I have bought 2 sets of these braided (5-6 each) cables and over 2-3 years they are all dead.

Same, every time I get braided cables they all die within a month or two

I am afraid of these cables, none lasted over 6 months and one of it the tip came off inside the charge port on my kids ipad and not able to get it out no matter what, end up sending it out to fix it....
