Works well, though the redemption is a little clunky. Enter the code you receive manually under the camera code redemption option. Also, it didn't tack the free 3 months onto the end of my current paid month - started the free period immediately, so since I paid for this month 2 weeks ago, I'm really only getting 2.5 months free. :/ Just to clarify, 4 months free for new subscribers, 3 months for previous/current subscribers.
I cancelled my subscription to Apple News. Then went to my IMac to enter in the code where you enter gift codes for redemption. That added 3 months to my account for free. Thanks!
This worked. I was not a previous apple plus subscriber and I did get the 4 months free. Awesome!
The best buy check out was wonky. I had to create a best buy account, not a problem. But then I had to add a credit card to the best buy account for a zero dollar purchase!
