NEC code requires mechanical fixation of wire before soldering, and it's the same thing I would do with these. Unlike in Clive's video, use one of the NASA recommended wire lashing techniques, which there are also youtube videos demonstrating.

Solder joint plus heat shrink tube is always the most reliable method.
