The 9 members of the Committee on Foreign Investments approved the sale by the Canadian company. State could NOT block the sale. Under the LAW, only the President actually has the power to prevent that sort of sale. He did not. In theory, Congress could have prevented the sale by that Canadian company with mining interests in several U.S. states, but they chose not to do so. "Facts are stubborn things."

You really should listen more carefully to the nuts' harangues. Facts do matter but less in some quarters.
